Welcome to Hotel Restaurant Raunig, your ideal base in Bad Kleinkirchheim, in the heart of the beautiful Nockberge National Park. Our hotel is located on a quiet, sunny mountainside and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley. On our sunny terrace, you can relax in peace and quiet, the perfect place for a cup of coffee, a refreshing drink or a moment of relaxation in the mountain air.

Our rooms are stylishly and comfortably furnished and all have a private balcony with a view of the Kaiserburg. In winter, you can look out over the snow-covered slopes of Bad Kleinkirchheim, which together offer 64 miles of downhill runs.

In the restaurant, we spoil you with international dishes and seasonal specialties. You can choose a refined 3-course menu or enjoy our Sharing Dining concept, where tasting and sharing experiences are central. For our half-board guests, we offer a 3-course menu, with the option of upgrading to our delicious Sharing Dining dinner.

After a day of hiking, cycling, golfing or skiing, you can completely relax in our sauna or infrared cabin, which are free for all our guests, followed by drinks in the restaurant or our cozy hotel lobby.

Indoor relaxation has also been taken care of: curl up on the sofa with a series for a Netflix moment, play a game of table tennis, or let off steam with a game on the Wii. From April to the end of October, our guests benefit from both the Kärnten Card and the Sonneshein Card, which give you free admission or attractive discounts at numerous attractions in the region. The Sonneshein Card is available all year round.

Practical convenience is also part of the package: we offer free parking on site, there is a elevator, a heated storage room for skis and ski boots, and you can use Wi-Fi free of charge. Bad Kleinkirchheim is also known for its two beautiful thermal baths: the Römerbad and Thermen St. Kathrein, both ideal for those looking for extra wellness and relaxation. The Römerbad is also located almost directly below us.
