Arrange the actual local transport and ask the site about current access, footwear and guiding before leaving the hotel. Questions before buying the Bali–Komodo combination

Is ten days enough for Bali and Komodo?

It is enough for this deliberately limited combination: three coastal or town bases and one main park excursion. It is not enough to retain the same days while adding Ubud, a Flores road circuit and several Nusa islands. Choose the experiences you value most before buying tickets. This route allocates two days to domestic air journeys instead of pretending they are full sightseeing days.

Can I book the boat first and assume park admission is included?

No. The park introduced a daily visitor quota in April 2026, and its entry arrangements govern the visit. Ask how the operator secures your actual dated admission and which visitor-category fees remain payable. A deposit for a boat, a confirmed hotel room and a park reservation are separate pieces of the trip. Resolve them together before treating the Flores dates as settled.

Do I have to snorkel or complete the Padar hike?

Describe your actual requirements to the operator before buying the programme. The published four-stop excursion includes both a hike and snorkelling, so it may be a poor purchase for someone wanting neither. Ask about an accepted alternative rather than assuming the crew can improvise one after departure. What if I am uncomfortable on boats?

Komodo National Park access is a sea journey, so boat tolerance is a real trip decision. A mainland cave day can provide a different Labuan Bajo activity, but it does not reproduce the park landscape or wildlife visit. When should I plan the Bali–Komodo trip?
