This route is for a short holiday that includes Manila itself. It uses the arrival evening to settle into the city, the following day to visit its old quarter, and the remaining stay for Boracay. There are three full sightseeing days: day two in Manila and days four and five on the island. The other dates contain an arrival or a flight, so they are useful for a local walk if the journey goes well, without carrying a booked excursion.
The contrast is substantial. Intramuros sits beside the Pasig River in the City of Manila, with fortified grounds, church streets and the river crossing to Chinatown. Makati, where this plan sleeps, is farther east and has a separate cluster of hotels and restaurants. Boracay lies off northern Panay in the Visayas. White Beach is its western visitor strip; reaching it involves both a flight to Caticlan airport and a boat crossing.
Choose this combination when the history and food walk matters as much as the beach. If the sole aim is swimming and a hotel stay, five nights on Boracay would remove a hotel move and give more independent island time.
Caticlan is the selected airport because its arrival chain avoids the mainland drive from Kalibo. Compare the total before switching: the flight ticket and the airport-to-hotel transfer are separate purchases, and a lower airfare can come with a longer day on the road. The island programme also has a choice built into it. Keep the group boat tour when you want snorkelling stops beyond White Beach; replace that booking with another shore day if the shared boat and fixed departure do not suit your party.
