Walk along the waterfront towards the pedestrian bridge, then return along the promenade past Ong Pagoda and the old Can Tho market area. Keep the first outing short: look at the boats, choose a nearby dinner and head back to your hotel. You can view the riverside landmarks from outside without turning the arrival afternoon into a list of admissions. This walk suits a city base; from a garden lodge, book the road return before coming in for the evening.

Legacy Mekong offers villa options with three, four or five bedrooms and private pools on Con Au. These suit a group that wants to share meals and leisure while keeping separate bedrooms. Select the villa with the actual beds and accepted party size written into the offer, including the children. A solo traveller or couple should request the actual accepted booking total or a shared departure before treating the per-person figure as the amount they will pay.
The market-and-cacao visit lists VND 900,000 per person and a three-guest minimum: VND 2,700,000 for three adult places. That is VND 225,000 more for the three-person group than the shorter cruise. The cacao programme includes the farm visit and a longer overall outing, with about two hours of boat time. Its inclusion list does not promise a complete breakfast; allow a separate meal budget and obtain any additional transport cost with the booking.
Victoria’s cooking class lists VND 1,215,000 per person, with at least two guests. Two adult places therefore cost VND 2,430,000. The lunch you prepare is included; beverages are excluded. Add the journey to and from the resort if you are staying elsewhere. This comparison is useful for a pair choosing between a shared food activity and a river trip: the class has a two-person minimum, while the market examples above have a three-person minimum.
It can work with a later departure. Use the booked return point, travel back to your hotel, collect your bags and then reach the coach joining point or airport. Allow for each separate road leg and the carrier’s check-in or boarding time. After the four-hour cacao outing, a lunchtime departure is harder to fit than after the shorter cruise. If the connection depends on the outing finishing exactly on time, travel the next day.
Send the operator each child’s age along with the adult count. Ask whether the selected boat and activities suit them, what life jackets it can provide and how the child places will be priced. Tell it about any child who will need help boarding or who is unlikely to stay comfortable through a four-hour outing. Get that answer before reserving: the adult examples in the budget do not establish a child discount or an accepted family arrangement.
Victoria’s detailed class starts with a meeting in the resort lobby, then moves to the terrace of Spices Restaurant for an introduction and hands-on cooking. Obtain the joining time accepted for your date and take a taxi to Victoria Can Tho Resort if you are staying elsewhere. Arrange the taxi back to your hotel after lunch ends. Marriott lists no airport shuttle for Legacy Mekong. Arrange the road transfer separately, following the arrival instructions above, and obtain its price with your room booking.
